Today's society presents parents with challenges unknown to past generations; similarly, growing up today is perhaps more difficult for young people than ever before. In addition, the pressure of immigrant parents and American-born children can create special difficulties for families. FEC Glendale sees its foremost ministry as a ministry to families. Our Cantonese, English, Mandarin, Youth and Children's ministries together provide a well-rounded program of preaching, teaching, caring and fellowship so that each member of the family can find meaningful and deep fellowship.

We have cross-congregation events aimed at bringing families together. Family retreats and parent-teen conferences are geared to unite families together by learning to bring the love of Christ to the home through discussions of family/cultural values, and parent-teen communication/expectations in a biblical manner.
